Appeals Court Rules States Can Regulate Kalshi Sports Markets, Report Says
The Sixth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled Friday that Ohio and Tennessee may apply their gambling laws to Kalshi’s sports-related event contracts, according to CNBC and Courthouse News Service. It is the second appellate defeat for prediction market platforms.
